My Vessel

The vessel that i did with my group members had a shallow vee. It was also self propelling. It was meant to have a motor and it was made out of acryllic plastic. I chose a shallow vee because it was very simple to make and it would the boat glide easier and faster. I added a motor because i wanted it to be very fast and self propelling. When we tried testing it without the motor it was leaning towards one side so we decided to fill all of the holes with silicon. This must have really helped. It would propel itself and go fast. We chose to use acryllic plastic because it was very easy to use. I think that it was a good model of a marine vessel.

Evaluate

I think that i did well as an individual and we did really well as a group. We had some ups and downs but in the end everything worked out for us. In my opinion the most outsanding member in our group was Fidel Dudi. I do not think there was every any doubt. I played my part and i did well on the investigate stage. I did some of the plan but i was absent for one lesson so i missed out. On design i helped Fidel and i think i did well. We even stayed for Academic support to complete it. In the create i also helped out. Our group leader Fidel did much more than his share of work. I think that we worked well together as a group. I think if i was to assess myself out of 7 overall i would give myself a 4. I think that overall i did a good job on my model. We worked well as a group.

4 Different types of vessels

What are they? What are they used for?

There are 1) Commercial vessels

2) Fishing Boats

3)Naval vessels

4)Inland and Coatal boats

Commercial vessels are for transporting goods, vehicles and such things. They also have other uses. These commercial vessels are split into three groups which are cargo ships, passenger ships and special purpose ships. These are a very important form of vessels. The hulls are mostly made of steel but for speed you can use aluminium.

Fishing boats are like commercial vessels but they are smaller. They are classified by the fish that they catch. They are also classified by the architecture and the fishing method. They are used in many places around the world. Many of them are built in Japan. They have many types of hull.

Naval vessels are vessels that are used for warships. They are broken down int o three categories which are warships, submarines and support vessels. These are mainly used to attack an opposing force. They are very important because you need them for security. They have fine hulls for speed and ease. They also have really advanced communication technology. They are mostly for attack or missiles. They also have a lot of weapons.

Inland and Cooastal boats are used for travelling on lakes, rivers and canals. Barges are a great example of these. They are flat hulled cargo ships that go on lakes. Most of them are not self propelled.

Introduction

Hi, welcome to my blog. In this blog i am going to write about four different types of marine vessels. I am then going to explain them and have pictures of these marine vessels. I will explore on what influenced he choice of hull design and the materials and propulsion method in a model of a marine vessel I created. I will lastly evaluate on my performance at each stage of the design cycle and my marine vessel's success. I am positive that you will gai9n useful knowledge from this.

No difference

If the constitution were to allow every pregnant girl would have an abortion. Most abortions are done in slums because they do not desire motherhood. Most of the girls who are pregnant in slums are victims of rape so it is not their fault.I do not think that this is enough reason to say they are evil.

Very Complicated

To make everything even more complicated in the debate between government and church leaders there is a Washington anti-abortion and it is sponsoring for an amendment in the current law. They are sponsoring tens of thousands of dollars. President Obama and Hilary think it is a womans right to terminate to terminate a pregnancy. But this is not their country. I read in the Nation newspaper, there was an article which said we should first tend to those who are born and dying before the unbor. Instead of debating about the destiny of the born and dying we are having a debate about those who have never walked this earth.

Abortion is Murder

I think that abortion should be considered a murder. Aborting a baby is a very big crime because you are murdering a poor defenseless baby. Frankly i do not think that this is right because you can prevent yourself from getting pregnant by using prophylactics. There is a clause in the constitution which states that abortions are illegal. They are only legalized when the life of the mother is in danger. I think that this clause opens the door for more abortions. The Kenyan church agrees with my thoughts on this point. Last year 2,600 women died from illegal abortions. We can see that these statistics show that this crime should be illegal, no matter what. Judging by the corruption in Kenya we can see that if you are willing to do an abortion you can bribe a doctor to create false evidence to prove that your life was in danger. Thus ensuing in no lawsuit being filed. I think that making an amendment would put an end to all of this. There is also the risk of you doing along with your baby, as i said before last year 2,600 women died from illegal abortions. In the case of teen pregnancies a teenager can give and let another family adopt the child. Is it such a hard sacrifice to make after all, a little burden to protect a life. I do not think that you would like it if you were being killed by the will of your mother and there was nothing you could do about it. We need to make sure that this murder is put to an end. If you do not wish to be a mother it is simple, use a prophylactic. Do we really want to soon become the country with the most abortions like Russia. Whereas it is legal in Russia and illegal in Kenya. ( No offense to the Russians meant). The solution is easy an amendment should be made during the referendum.
